Everyone knows the Powerball draws tonight, and the prize is around Eleventy Bajillion. The question is, what car would you purchase first? Some cars (GT40) are amazing but would take time to find a good example, others (M5, 911) are readily available, but may not be worthy of the "first car" designation. Would you, nay, could you wait to purchase the car of your dreams firs, and what car would it be?

Probably my wife's Soul. That's my go to answer for all these things. I get a million bucks I'm paying off all my bills first.

I'd go to the local Subaru dealer and get a BRZ just how I want it. I'd then walk to the Audi sales desk and get an R8 just how I want it. I'd then buy an Audi SUV off the lot. I'd then walk over to the Porsche desk and find out what I need to do to get involved in the GT3 racing and who to talk to.

Full disclosure: The Audi, Porsche, and Subaru lots are all part of one dealership where I live.

I'd just ask to talk to the owner. See what kind of deal you could get on purchasing all those cars at once. (I bet it would be a damn good one)

I'd buy a Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT wagon. And then save the rest for a swanky pad/when I trust myself with a more powerful car.

After bills & houses paid off, Buy my wife a Jeep Rubicon 4dr, and restore both my 84 VW GTIs, turn my Metro into a le mons racecar, & a truck and enclosed trailer for hauling racecar or VWs, oh and I need to get a ticket.

First thing I would do is immediately go to Symbolic Motors and have them scour the land for a clean F40. And while I'm there, pick up a used 6MT exotic.

There's a 2nd gen pre-74 Camaro laying around my parent's town in need of a resto, I'll give it one that it deserves.

I'd probably pay off my cars first. The last thing I need in my life is friends/relatives knowing I won the lottery, which would be apparent going from a VW to a McLaren. Slowly work my way up the "niceness" ladder. Ultimately, I'd get a 911, because it's something I've always wanted.

What I would do is travel more. And do automotive-y things like the Porsche school at Barber and rally school in New England.

If I won Eleventy Bajillion dollars tonight, I'd go upgrade my daily driver civic to either a Vantage S or an Mp4-12clmnop tomorrow. If I can't decide then I would buy both. Then I would upgrade my families daily drivers to whatever they wanted, starting with the wife of course. Then I would begin my automotive collection/empire, earning myself the nickname "Sultan of the Northeast". It would be an eclectic collection of attainable cars, because id rather own a fine example of every generation m3 than one Ferrari. First car in the collection would probably be a DeLorean, because that was the first car I obsessed over.

Definitely start with a VW Mk VI GTI and a Jetta TDI Sportwagon. It sounds crazy, but they're great little cars and will get me to the track in one piece just fine!

Then the racecars will start. Five months later, I will need another Powerball injection of cash!

I might get myself a nice Ducati, but I'm pretty good on the car front right now. I'd probably spend a small amount of the money on a house, and maybe a project RX-7.

You can keep all your exotics. I want a Mark IV Supra, tastefully modified. Wife gets an armored Escalade, and my daily car will be a... Actually, I have no idea what my daily driver would be. S8? BMW B7? S63? One of those.

I'd rebuild my car, but since that will take a while I'd likely buy a BRZ/FR-S. Then I'd find some sweet cars for my family.

I would keep it low-key initially at least. Maybe pay to get the project car professionally finished and upgrade to a newer daily driver Audi. Maybe an S8 if I wanted to be flashier.. And actually, my wife needs a new car so she'd come first anyways and would get to choose her own for the most part..
